I was looking for something I could make a few months ago to bring to a family Christmas party. Our family has a fudge and rocky road recipe that someone always makes every year. This year, I decided to make a new kind of fudge that we hadn’t had before. Cookies & Cream is my favorite whether it’s a Hershy’s bar, a milkshake, or even a cupcake. It’s not a very complicated recipe and turns out looking so good.

Cookies and Cream Fudge

Ingredients:

Bottom Layer:

  • 2 Cups Semisweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 Cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1/4 Cup Mini Marshmallows

Top Layer

  • 2 Cups White Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 Cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1/4 Cup Mini Marshmallows
  • 1 + 1/4 Cup Crushed Oreos

Directions:
1.Prepare a 9×9 pan by covering with foil. This makes clean up super easy and the fudge will come out so much easier when you are trying to cut it later on. Also, if you havent already, make sure to crush the Oreos up for later use. I used one of those little snack size containers of mini Oreos. You won’t need an entire container of full-sized Oreos, but I guess you could snack on any extras while you make these!

2. In a medium pan over low heat, melt the Semisweet chocolate chips, sweetened condensed Milk and Mini Marshmallows. Make sure to gently stir as they melt or else the chocolate may burn on the bottom. The fudge should become smooth.

3. Pour the chocolate fudge into the pan and spread evenly across the bottom.

4. Next, comes the top layer. Melt the White Chocolate Chips, sweetened condensed milk, and mini marshmallows. Stir until all is melted, smooth and combined. Remove from heat.

5. Stir in the 1 cup of the crushed Oreo pieces. Stir until they are evenly distributed among the fudge. Spread the remaining 1/4 cup crushed Oreos on top of the fudge.

6. Pour the white fudge in the same pan as before, on top of the chocolate fudge. Allow to cool and refrigerate for at least two hours, or overnight.

7. When the fudge has hardened, remove it from the pan by the foil. I like to just flip it over and peel off the foil before I start cutting. I’ve tried to cut first but always have to spend so much time looking for any little foil pieces that may have come off.

8. Cut the fudge into squares. Store in the refrigerator, in an air tight container.
